Seeking Teens for "Waitress" Show

Actors age 16 or older can audition for "Waitress" Production. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Audition Sides: Sides are a portion of a script (perhaps two or three pages) for audition purposes, that section of the script is called your “sides.” There are sides for you to review. Preparation is not required, but is recommended. The director will tell you which side you will read from at your audition. Review the attached sides and get familiar with how you can tell the story through your voice and actions. Memorization is not required nor expected. Music Cuts: A cut is a short section of a piece of music typically used in auditions. In this packet, you will need 9 cuts. Please become familiar with one or more of the selections directors have provided, preferably for a character(s) you are interested in. Memorization is not required nor expected. All auditionees will be asked to sing “Opening Up”. The creative team might also ask you to sing for other roles as well. For callbacks, please be prepared to sing for various characters.
