Singing Opportunities for Teens in "Jesus Christ Superstar"

Casting actors aged 16 and up for the "Jesus Christ Superstar" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "Jesus Christ Superstar" is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks of the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Reflecting the rock roots that defined a generation, the legendary score includes “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Gethsemane,” and “Superstar”! Additional info: For The Audition: Sing a song that best showcases your vocal ability no longer than 2 minutes in length. An accompanist will be provided. Rehearsals: They will begin approx. the week of April 28th. Some conflicts can be worked around. Please list them on your audition form. Directors manage time wisely and know that your time is valuable. Everyone cast will be given a rehearsal calendar of the entire process that lists when you are called for. Important: Please arrive to the theatre lobby 10 minutes before your audition time. If you need to cancel please do so within 24 hours ahead of time. Show Dates: June 5-22 Evening Performances 7:30 pm Matinees 2:00 pm When applying, please email a headshot, list of stage experience, and your top 3 preferences of time/date you would like to audition (April 15 – 6:00 PM -10:00 PM and April 16 – 6:00 PM -10:00 PM), and the audition sheet attached that you can download, fill out, and return along with the rest of your items.
