An 8-year-old boy doing his best to move forward after the passing of his father. With the help of his mother, he keeps a smile on his face. Has a soft spot in his heart for a fellow classmate, and, in an attempt to replicate the love his father showed his mother, he steals her wedding ring. Innocent and full of good intentions, he believes his actions are justified. In his mother's eyes, he can do no wrong. He is simply trying to mask the sadness in his heart from the loss of his father.
A cute girl that the lead, Mason, takes an interest in. She’s quiet and shy but enjoys the attention of Mason, often sharing smiles in his direction. Mason ends up giving her his mother’s ring in the hope that she will become his school girlfriend.
