About the project: Professor Henry Higgins wagers with Colonel Pickering that he can transform street flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a duchess in six months. Through extensive training, Eliza learns to speak properly and becomes a lady admired by all. Along the way, she captures the heart of Freddy Einsford-Hill and convinces others of her nobility. Despite her transformation, Eliza struggles between her old life and newfound refinement. When Higgins fails to acknowledge her contribution, she leaves him. He realizes his deep feelings for her only then.
