Millie is the intellectual sister who lives her life in dreams and books. She is confident in her brain but less confident when it comes to boys. She is more fragile than she puts on and she feels that Madge is always favored because she is “the pretty one.”
Bomber is the local paperboy who is intent on making moves on Madge. He bullies Millie and constantly pursues Madge.
