Looking for Kids and Teens for "Young Playwrights Festival"

Seeking kids and teens for the "Young Playwrights Festival". See details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Rehearsals Begin: February 22, 2025 Run/Shoot: March 7, 2025 – March 8, 2025 Casting for six, ten-minute plays for actors of all ages 8+. Scripts are currently being developed by young people based around the theme "Empathy in Action." Actors can be in multiple pieces. Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue of your choosing. For children ages 8-10, you can choose a shorter phrase (3-4 sentences). If you would prefer, the directors can also provide a monologue/phrase upon request. The directors will have hard copies printed out at the auditions. Auditioners are also encouraged to slate, which is introducing yourself and your piece before starting the acting portion.
