Kids ages 8 and up are invited to audition for "A Wrinkle In Time" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: 13-year-old Meg Murry struggles to adjust to school and home life after her father, a renowned scientist, mysteriously disappears. But when she and her brother are visited by three ethereal creatures - Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which - who claim to know where their father is, they must join forces to rescue him. Walk through the vortex of this fantastical adventure traveling through time and space as Fantasy Playhouse presents the popular kids sci-fi novel by Madeleine L'Engle live on stage. Additional info: REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons. Tuesdays/Thursdays (March 18 - May 1) (6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) Saturdays (March 22 - May 3) (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) Rehearsal schedule subject to change; cast will be given final dates Some Saturdays may extend to 4:00 p.m.; cast will receive advance notice TECH WEEK: (NO CONFLICTS) May 4 - May 8 (Call Time 1:00 pm on May 4/ 5:00 p.m. other dates) PERFORMANCE DATES: (NO CONFLICTS) Thursday, May 8 - call time 5:00 p.m.; performance at 7:00 p.m. (invited dress rehearsal/Pay What You Can night) Friday, May 9 - call time 5:00 p.m.; performance at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10 - call time 11:00 a.m. for 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. performances Sunday, May 11 - call time at 11:00 a.m.; performances at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Student Matinees: Monday, May 12 - call time 7:00 a.m. for shows at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The production team will provide school excuse letters as needed.
