Kids Acting Audition in Production of "Marhaba"

About the project: An Eritrean woman is hanging clothes on her clothing line in 1993 suburban Canada. Suddenly, as she's listening to the radio, the news of Eritrea's independence is announced, her country of origin. This leads to a flood of memories filling her, from moving to Canada in the 80s, up to their present day in May 1993-reflecting on her time since moving from Eritrea. Rate: Non-union (unpaid). Small role. Eritrean/Ethiopian. Taqwa is a confident and sassy girl who doesn't let anyone tell her what to do except for her mom, Hanaa. She shares a love-hate relationship with her brother, Aaron, but deep down, she cares for him greatly Slightly spoiled by her dad, she's often considered his unofficial favorite.
Small role. Eritrean/Ethiopian. Aaron is a quiet, introspective boy who keeps to himself but will speak his mind when needed. He loves sports, especially soccer, and often annoys his older sister, Taqwa but it's his way of showing affection.
