Singing Audition for "Shrek" Play
Auditions open for singers for the play "Shrek." Please find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Shrek, a grumpy ogre, embarks on a journey with Donkey to rescue Princess Fiona, encountering a host of fairy tale misfits and a power-hungry villain, Lord Farquaad. Additional info: Performance Dates: April 18-20 & 25-27 Tech Week: April 14-17 & 24 Rehearsals will run weekly on Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri. A final schedule will be released after casting. Your frequency of being called will depend on casting. Everyone will be called to first read-thru on February 24th. Audition Requirements: -Cold reading of the script. -Prepare a 60-second song excerpt from a musical of your choice. You may sing acapella or provide your own accompaniment.
