Looking for Teen Actors in "Carrie" The Musical
Seeking teen actors for "Carrie: The Musical." Please find the details below. About the project: Carrie White is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it. Additional info: Auditions will be vocal, then choreography, and finally cold reads. For choreography, please bring a water bottle, jazz shoes or closed toe shoes/sneakers, and wear comfortable clothing. For vocal auditions, prepare a minute of a song in the style of the show. Broadway/Pop Rock. The song should represent the auditioner's vocal range. Those auditioning for Carrie White and Margaret White should prepare a song that shows off their belt. Vocal range A2-C5. A stupid-like- a fox bad boy. Those qualities make it easy for his girlfriend Chris to manipulate him to do his bidding.
Vocal range C3-G4. He can be played by the same actor as Mr. Stephens. Reverend Bliss is the local preacher on WORD radio.
Vocal range E3-E5. Mean girl, gossipy with tomboy qualities and a suck up to authority. She is Chris Hargensen's best friend.
