"Heathers" and "The Boxcar Children" Needs Kids and Teens

Performers aged 13-18 years old for "Heathers" and ages 8-14 for "The Boxcar Children". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the projects: "Heathers": ​What’s your damage, Heather? Based on the twisted cult classic 1989 film, Heathers the Musical has become a cultural phenomenon in its own right. Westerberg High is ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing clique: Heather, Heather, and Heather - the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio. But misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime for a new boyfriend, the dark and sexy stranger J.D., who plans to put the Heathers in their place - six feet under. "The Boxcar Children": Home isn’t defined by walls. The Alden children have just been orphaned. To escape their cruel grandfather, they flee to the woods and make their home in an abandoned boxcar. Pursued by the authorities and a mysterious stranger, the children discover the rewards and perils of life on the run. Based on the popular children’s series, The Boxcar Children is a powerful story teaching us that home can be anywhere as long as you have your family by your side. Additional info: Note: Students ages 13 and 14 may choose to audition for either "Heathers the Musical" or "The Boxcar Children" OR both. They will be sent two different audition appointments on the same day. They will not be cast in both productions.
