About the project: Birthday Candles follows the life of a woman as she celebrates her birthday from the age of 17 to her 101st, essentially chronicling her entire life through the lens of baking a birthday cake. The show highlights the significant moments of joy, heartbreak, and experiences that make up a seemingly "ordinary" life, all while contemplating the woman’s place in the universe and the passage of time. The play is known for its poignant and sometimes humorous exploration of one person's life story of love, loss, and family. Additional info: Rehearsals for Birthday Candles begin March 3rd.
