Casting Call for Kids for "Alice in Wonderland Jr." Show

Calling all young actors ages 8-18 to audition for "Alice in Wonderland Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love, including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts. Additional info: Callbacks (if needed) will be held in person on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin January 24, 2025, and will generally be Tuesday through Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, with some additional Friday evenings closer to opening. Not all actors will be called for every rehearsal. PERFORMANCE DATES: March 8-23, 2025 on Saturdays at 10 am and 12:30 pm, with additional spring break performances on March 18 and 20 at 12:30 pm. Note that the fee will be applied. When applying, please fill out the online audition form attached and email a headshot, resume, conflict calendar, and a video audition performing one or more of the preselected monologues attached and singing 16 bars (approx. 30-60 seconds) of a Broadway or Disney song in the style of the show by January 19, 2025. (No singing a cappella, please.) Actors should be very familiar with the monologue but do not have to be memorized. Videos are best shared through Google Drive or an unlisted YouTube link.
