"Wizard of Oz Youth Edition" and "Junie B. Jones" Needs Kids

Seeking actors ages 7-18 for "Wizard of Oz Youth Edition" and ages 13 and up "Junie B. Jones" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will be asked to do a cold reading from the script. You may be asked to read alone, with a partner, or in a small group. SINGING audition requirement: For Wizard of Oz, please come prepared to sing either "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" or "If I Only Had a Heart". If you are auditioning for a lead role, you should be prepared to sing along to the track without the guide vocals. Kids auditioning for ensemble parts in The Wizard of Oz can sing with the vocal track during their audition. For Junie B Jones, please come prepared with a 32-bar cut or roughly a minute of any song in the style of the show. Please have a track to without vocals prepared. DANCE audition requirement: Please come prepared to learn a short dance combination in a small group before or after your singing/reading audition. Rehearsals for Wizard of Oz will begin in early February and will be Tuesday-Thursday 5:30-8 pm and Saturdays & Sundays 12-4 pm Performances will be April 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th, and 20th at Kennett High School Loynd Auditorium. Rehearsals for Junie B Jones will begin in the end of January and will be on weekends 4:30 to 7:30 pm Performances will be April 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, May 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th at The Majestic Theater.
