Auditions for "Black Girl Magic" show. Seeking school-age performers. Please see the breakdown below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Synopsis: A young Black woman filled with self-doubt takes a journey through time guided by her African ancestors and finds self-love and acceptance. Additional info: Auditions Vocal Auditions - Wednesday & Thursday, January 15th & 16th, 6pm-9pm *Bring a vocal track (karaoke track) to sing with. Dance Audition - Friday, January 17th, 6pm-9pm *Adults with a strong dance background in ballet, tap, and/or hip hop or who are skilled pianists are encouraged to audition. Callback (invitation only) - Saturday, January 18th, 1:30pm Rehearsals begin January 26th at 3PM (6 weeks rehearsal process/ days vary depending upon cast conflicts) Performance: March 13th, 14th, and 15th If you are interested, please apply.

The oldest of the queens; A Sudanese warrior queen, blinded in one eye during battle; while all these warriors are equal in power, Amanirenas appears to serve as the leader of Sister’s Ancestral guides as well as the most nurturing, which reflects her title as “Ruling Queen.”
