Auditions open for singers for the play "Jane Eyre." Please find the details below. About the project: World Premiere Adaptation - Based on the classic gothic novel. Jane Eyre follows the life of its resilient, orphaned heroine as she navigates hardships and pursues her independence in 19th century England. After a difficult childhood, Jane becomes a governess at Thornfield Hall, where she meets the brooding, mysterious Mr. Rochester. Additional info: FIRST READ THROUGH - 4/5 REHEARSALS - BEGIN 7/28 AND WILL BE HELD MONDAY - THURSDAY AT 7PM TECH - 8/31 - 9/4 PERFORMANCES - 9/5, 9/6, 9/12, 9/13, 9/19, 9/20, 9/26 AND 9/27 8:30PM, 9/21 AT 4PM AND 9/25 AT 8PM SET CONSTRUCTION/WORKSHOP DAYS - 8/3, 8/17, 8/23, 8/24, AND 8/30 Performers will read from the script. Mr. Rochester's young ward and Jane's pupil at Thornfield. She is lively, speaks French and has a complex background.

The kind and motherly housekeeper at Thornfield Hall. She becomes a friend and confidant for Jane.
A servant at Thornfield Hall who is tasked with looking after Bertha. She behaves mysteriously.
A beautiful, wealthy woman whom Mr. Rochester pretends to court to make Jane jealous. Blanche is prideful and represents a contrast to Jane's humility and sincerity.
