Abused, neglected, and betrayed by his family and the world around him, Elliot spent his youth at the mercy of a corrupt system and his ruthless father, Edward Cain—a man whose criminal empire thrives on human trafficking and violence. Elliot’s journey begins in his childhood home, a secluded cottage filled with memories of torment. Once a quiet, lonely boy, Elliot now transforms into a relentless force of vengeance after escaping from a decade-long stay at a psychiatric facility. His escape sets off a deadly chain of events that drags everyone connected to his past—friends, enemies, and innocent bystanders—into his orbit of chaos. At the center of this harrowing story are three of Elliot’s childhood friends: Lily Reeves, Jason, and Devin, whose bond with Elliot was tested during a pivotal, drug-fueled incident in their youth.
