"Through the Eyes of a Leper" Play Seeks Kids

About the project: Experience the epic tale of a Roman soldier’s journey in Through the Eyes of a Leper. In this captivating theatrical production, follow the gripping narrative of Annaeus, a devoted soldier torn between duty and family. As he navigates the tumultuous world of ancient Rome, his life becomes intertwined with the profound story of Jesus Christ. Through breathtaking music, powerful performances, and a harmonious fusion of history and faith, this production weaves together the lives of a soldier and a Savior, leaving audiences with a poignant message of love, sacrifice, and the enduring power of belief. Additional info: Rehearsals will be in Utah County, mainly in Provo, Springville, and Spanish Fork, UT. They will run from January 15 to April 8, 2025, Tuesdays - Fridays 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. *Rehearsal times may be adjusted based on the director's discretion or building schedule. Performances will run April 9th-19th, 2025. There will be Saturday Matinees in addition to the evening performances. There will be no performances on Sunday or on April 18th. Singing Role Preparation: 1) 16-32 bars of a musical theater-style song that shows off your vocal range. Please sing to a Karaoke Track and not a capella. 2) 30-second monologue of any genre. Memorization of the monologue is not required but is still encouraged. If interested, please apply.
