Boys and Girls Needed for "Alice in Wonderland Jr."
Children in 3rd-8th Grade from St. Charles Catholic Parish and School are invited to audition for the "Alice in Wonderland Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please come to the audition with a 30-60 second monologue and a 30-60 second song/portion of a song. Do not plan to sing a full song. Please sing roughly 32 bars. These pieces do not need to be memorized, though memorization does play in your favor. If a student does not have a monologue or song, he/she will be asked to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing "Happy Birthday." Please complete the Audition Form attached and bring it to the audition. Be sure to list ALL conflicts that your child will have with rehearsals so that the directors can cast accordingly. NO ABSENCES ARE ALLOWED DURING TECH WEEK. Please take time to review the notes attached from the Parent Informational Meeting. It contains helpful information about the time commitment involved in the musicals. If your child is interested in working behind the scenes with our Tech Crew(5th-8th Graders only please), let us know. We will be sending out a specific sign up for that role at a later time. Callbacks will take place on Wednesday, January 15 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Not all will be called back, but all will get a part in the show. The Cast List will be announced by Friday, January 17 via email. 3rd Grade students will be cast in the youth ensemble role, which includes four songs. If interested, please apply.
