About the project: Plot Summary: Margery Williams’s classic toy story gets a vibrant retelling in this brand new adaptation. When The Child gets The Rabbit for Christmas, there is disappointment in the gift. But as the two quest and adventure through The Child’s storybooks, both The Rabbit and The Child grow and care for each other. They discover that love is the greatest force in the Universe, and can make impossible things Real. Show Synopsis Margery Williams’s classic toy story gets a vibrant retelling in this brand new adaptation. When the Child gets the Rabbit for Christmas, she is at first disappointed in her gift. But as the two quest and adventure through her storybooks, both Rabbit and Child grow and care for each other. And they discover that love is the greatest force in the Universe and can make impossible things Real. Rate: Theatre is a non-profit organization, non-union, no pay. Additional info: Performances: Fridays at 7:00pm. Saturdays at 1:00pm & 4:00pm. Sundays at 1:00pm. Performance Dates: May 2-11, 2025 Fridays at 7:00pm Saturdays at 1:00pm and 4:00pm Sundays at 1:00pm No conflicts allowed after April 18, 2025. No performance conflicts will be accepted. Audition Requirements: The audition will consist of cold readings from the sides provided. Sides will be available on our website soon. These are “open call” auditions; no appointment necessary. Rehearsal Schedule: February 12 – April 24, 2025 (Mondays-Thursdays) 5:00 to 7:00 Sunday April 27, 2025 10:00-5:00 April 28 – May 1, 2025 5:00-9:00 **Any of the starred roles may be combined with other parts in the play.
