Singing Audition for "Titanic" Musical

Looking for performers ages 12 and up for "Titanic" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: The musical play Titanic examines the causes, the conditions, and the characters involved in this ever-fascinating drama. This is the factual story of that ship-of her officers, crew, and passengers, to be sure-but she will not, as has happened so many times before, serve as merely the background against which fictional, melodramatic narratives are recounted. The central character of our Titanic is the Titanic herself. Additional info: Please prepare 16-32 bars (around 1-1 ½ minutes) of a song of your choice. There will not be a dance audition. Please either bring clearly marked sheet music for our accompanist or a track to sing along to. Directors will have a Bluetooth speaker available. The audition Sheet is attached. Please bring it to auditions or directors will have copies for you to fill out when you arrive. Rehearsals run M-TH from 6-8:30, beginning February 10th. Conflicts will be accepted for rehearsal dates; however, an excessive number of conflicts with rehearsal times may impact casting decisions. Directors request that all known conflicts be shared with them at the time of auditions. Please be aware that conflicts brought to the attention after the casting of the show may result in recasting or being released from the show. If you are involved with another production that will conflict with rehearsals for this production, the directors ask that you please refrain from auditioning from this show and focus on the original commitment made to the other production. Conflicts with tech rehearsals and performances will not be allowed. TECH WEEK REHEARSALS: The first FULL CAST tech rehearsal will be SUNDAY MARCH 30TH at 1 pm. This full tech rehearsal is mandatory for ALL ACTORS and CREW. Tech week then runs Monday-Thursday, MARCH 31ST - APRIL 3RD starting at 6 pm, leading up to opening night. TECH REHEARSALS AND ALL PERFORMANCES ARE MANDATORY!
