Looking for Child Performers in "The Wiz" Audition

Seeking child performers ages 6+ for auditions for "The Wiz." Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Auditionees should wear clothes that are comfortable and can be danced in. AUDITION - What To Prepare 1. Actors should prepare 16 bars (about 30 seconds) of a song from a musical. Songs should be performed with a backing track (karaoke track with no vocals); which can often be found on youtube. Pro Tip: - Show us the character, not just your voice! Make sure to perform your song! Callbacks will be held on Saturday, February 1 from 10-12pm. Show dates are May 16-17 and 23-24. Friday show times are at 7pm. Saturday show times are at 2pm and 7pm. Mandatory Tech/Dress rehearsals are May 14th and May 15th from 4:30-8:30pm. Rehearsal Days/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays (4:30-7:30pm) and some Saturdays (9-2pm) There is a mandatory rehearsal for the full cast on Saturday, May 10th (10am-3pm) *not all cast members will be called to all rehearsals **no children under the age of 10 will be required to stay past 7pm ***the full rehearsal schedule will be available at the audition.
