Casting Kids for "Wizard of Oz" Show

Looking to cast kids ages 8 and up for the "Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. Additional info: Please arrive early, doors will open at 5 pm to fill out forms & get photos, Auditions start promptly at 6 pm. *All kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will be able to leave after info is given out to the group at 6 pm.** Auditioners only need to attend one open audition day & may need to be available for the callback day if they are auditioning for any named character (if needed by the director). Preparation: Please prepare a song, not from Wizard of Oz, approx 1 minute long (we would prefer a backup track or karaoke accompaniment, but it's not required) & come dressed to be able to move comfortably to music. (please bring shoes to change into if you are wearing snow boots). If cast, rehearsals will be Mon, Tues, & Thurs from 6:00-8:30 pm (rehearsal will run later in the evening 2 weeks before the show opens). Rehearsals start 2/3/25, that first rehearsal will have a mandatory parent & actor meeting for the first ½ hour so that we can get info out & get cast measurements for costuming. The performance dates are: May 2 (7 pm),3 (7 pm),4 (3 pm). 9 (7 pm),10 (7 pm), and 11 (3 pm) You must be present at all performances & all tech & dress rehearsals (required rehearsals: 4/28-5/1).
