Kid Actors Needed for "The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe"
Kids ages 8-18 years old are invited to audition for "The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: No previous theatre experience is required! Come join the adventure and share your creativity. Auditions will consist of two parts, the first part will include fun group theatre games and exercises. Please come dressed to move comfortably. Following the group audition, everyone will be asked to perform a monologue. Monologue requirements: Roughly 45 seconds to 1 minute monologue. Please do not choose a monologue from a movie or TV show, directors want to see how you interpret the text. Any piece of text from a play, poem, or book that you feel drawn to is a great choice! Memorization is preferred and highly recommended however, it is not a requirement. And lastly, the goal is to have fun! Directors are so excited to see everyone audition.
