Teen Actors Needed for "Into the Woods & Drowsy Chaperone"
Seeking teen actors for auditions for "Into the Woods & The Drowsy Chaperone." Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks: Sunday, January 19th, 2025 Production Meeting: Monday, January 20th, 2025 What to Prepare: 1. A musical selection: Please prepare 16-32 bars (approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute) of a contemporary musical theatre piece that best showcases your vocal range and acting ability. Bring a karaoke track (Bluetooth capability) or sheet music for an accompanist (music must be marked). 2. Optional: A monologue under one minute that reflects the tone of the musical. This ensemble show has many opportunities for actors of all skill levels. Auditionees will be asked to participate in a short movement exercise, so please wear comfortable clothing. Rehearsals begin February 10th, 2025. Performances for Into the Woods are scheduled for April 17th – May 4th and Drowsy Chaperone are scheduled for July 25th-August 3rd.
