Looking to cast kids of all ages for Virginia Children’s Chorus. Please see the details below ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Come ready to sing the audition requirements above. Prepare one verse of each of the following: Happy Birthday My Country 'Tis of Thee Frère Jacques One other song of your choice - bring sheet music if possible.
Prepare one verse of each of the following: The Star Spangled Banner Row, Row, Row Your Boat D - Major Scale - Up and Down on solfège/numbers One other song of your choice - bring sheet music if possible.
Same as grades 6-9 AND: One song of your choice to demonstrate range and vocal technique - bring sheet music if possible. Examples include: classical solo pieces; Broadway show tune; choral piece from school choir/ religious organization choir.
