About the project: Four eccentric Broadway actors (Dee Dee Allen, Barry Glickman, Angie Dickinson, and Trent Oliver) are in desperate need of a new stage. When they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town Indiana high school prom—and that the press is involved—they know it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue and on themselves The town’s parents want to keep the prom on the straight and narrow, but when one student (Emma Nolan) just wants to bring her girlfriend (Alyssa Greene) to the prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with the courageous Emma and some of the town’s citizens—and together they kick-ball-change the world! Additional info: THE PROM April 18 - May 3, 2025 Callbacks: Tuesday, January 21, 2024, 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., What to Bring/How to Prepare: Bring a headshot with a resume (if you have one). Bring sheet music for (16-32 bars) a contemporary Broadway song that best shows off your voice and acting ability (no backing/karaoke tracks or acapella singing). You may be asked to perform a second selection. Dress to move & arrive stretched/warmed up. You may be asked to learn and perform a short piece of choreography to demonstrate your dance/movement ability. Only dance shoes, bare feet, or socks are allowed in the studio. A list of your conflicts for the rehearsal period (February 3-April 17). No conflicts are allowed after March 27. Please be aware that conflicts may affect casting. Sides will be provided at callbacks. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and fill out your Audition/Conflict form. Cast Orientation: Monday, February 3, 7:00-9:00 PM Rehearsals: Sundays-Thursdays, February 18-April 10, 7:00-10:00 PM. Performers will only be called to rehearsals when needed. Tech/Dress rehearsals: Sunday, April 13, 12:00-9:00 PM; Monday-Thursday, April 14-17, 6:00-10:00 PM Performances: Friday, April 18-Saturday, May 3. Twelve performances total. 1st Weekend: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm (Call: 6:00 pm), Sunday at 2 pm (Call 12:30 pm) 2nd Weekend: Thursday and Friday at 7:30 pm (Call 6:00 pm), Saturdays at 2:00 pm (Call 12:30 pm) and 7:30 pm (Call 6:00 pm), and Sunday at 2:00 pm (Call 12:30 pm) 3rd Weekend: Thursday and Friday at 7:30 pm (Call 6:00 pm), Saturdays at 2 pm (Call 12:30 pm) and 7:30 pm (Call 12:30 pm).
