Dance Opportunities for Kids in "Sleeping Beauty" Ballet

Boys and girls ages 6 and up are invited to audition for "Sleeping Beauty" Ballet. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Dancers should wear a black leotard and pink tights. Hair should be pulled neatly back from the face. No skirts, hair bows, jewelry, or other accessories should be worn to the audition. A parent meeting for those dancers auditioning will be held following the audition from 1:15-1:30 pm. Dancers must currently be enrolled in a ballet class at any local Maryland dance school. Dancers should wear a black or solid color leotard and pink tights with hair in a ballet bun. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Performance dates: 4/12, 11 am and 4 pm, Towson University. Performing in Spring Production is a big commitment for students and their families, especially this year. As a parent or guardian, it means bringing students to numerous rehearsals and performances during an already busy time. For students, it means the learning and absorption of choreography in a short period of time. Nonetheless, the experience of performing in a pre-professional production is a unique opportunity and one your student will never forget. Note that the fee will be applied.
