Child Auditions for Musical Production "Into The Woods Jr."
Kids ages 8-18 years old are invited to audition for "Into The Woods Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please prepare a one-minute or 32-bar cut that best showcases your voice and demonstrates a connection to the character you are auditioning for. Alternatively, please feel free to sing one of the callback cuts linked in the Google folder attached to the sign-up link. The material in the folder is also what will be sung/read at callbacks. A speaker will be provided, and if you do not have a cellphone we can pull up the karaoke track for you. Callbacks are: Tuesday, December 17th from 5:30-7:30 pm The first rehearsal will be Dec 19th, 5:30-7:30 PM so that the cast can get their scripts. Directors won’t start rehearsing the show until January 7th. Show dates: March 6th-9th (Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday matinee and night, and Sunday matinee) Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 & Sundays from 1:30-3:30 Tech Week: Sunday March 2nd-Wednesday March 5th Please note that the participation fee will be applied. Raising a son and running a farm all by herself has made Jack's Mother a bit frazzled and most definitely overworked. Jack’s Mother is a great role for a character actress with solid comic timing. Featured in: Opening

At first, this confidence and his desire to have a child drives him, but he soon learns he needs his wife’s help to accomplish the goal. The Baker's Wife is a strong, determined and loving woman whose desire to have a child drives the action of the whole show. Her storyline helps tie all the characters’ storylines together. The Witch is an ancient, mysterious and manipulative woman who will do anything possible to regain her beauty and protect Rapunzel. While she may seem old and haggard, she still has the strength to control other people. Cinderella’s Prince is a conceited man who adamantly pursues Cinderella and can’t take no for an answer. When not chasing her, he is trying to show up Rapunzel’s Prince. This role requires an actor who can portray arrogance while still being likeable. strong comedian. Featured In: Agony

The Steward is the servant of Cinderellas Prince. They are dependable and willing to do whatever Cinderella’s Prince asks.
