Seeking Kids for "Alice in Wonderland Jr." Show
Audition for "Alice in Wonderland Jr." Show. Looking for boys and girls. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Children will audition in front of the production team. Please have your child prepare a short song that showcases their voice. Will have them read a short monologue and perform a simple dance. They will be released after their audition. Callbacks will be held on Jan 7. Sing a short Song If you are auditioning for a significant role (Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen, Cheshire Cats, White Rabbit), please prepare a song from the show that will showcase your voice. Please take a look at the examples above. If you are not auditioning for a significant role, you may choose Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Mary Had a Little Lamb, or The Wheels on the Bus. Please limit to about 12-18 bars or a minute or less. Your child can sing acapella, or they can bring music with them. There will be a Bluetooth speaker available. Monologue At auditions, children will be given passages from the script to read in front of the casting team. I've included below a copy of the audition monologues. Children may be called back to do additional readings. Dance Will teach the children a short dance. Children will perform their dance audition with a group of children.
