Boys Needed for "The Boy & The Gun" Student Short Film
Casting boy actors for the "The Boy & The Gun" student short film. See the roles below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Eighteen-year-old Trevor takes on a seemingly simple babysitting gig, spending the evening playing video games with seven-year-old Pete. But the night spirals into chaos when Pete discovers a real gun hidden in the apartment. What starts as an innocent game turns deadly, as Pete’s childlike curiosity and misunderstanding of danger collide with Trevor’s desperate attempts to regain control. In a harrowing and escalating series of events, Trevor must navigate fear, violence, and his own morality to protect them both before the night ends in irreversible tragedy. Rate: This is an unpaid project, and no travel, transport, or housing will be provided. All actors will have access to the completed film for their reels. The film will be submitted to various festivals, giving actors an opportunity for exposure. An energetic, curious, and impressionable child who idolizes the older kids around him but doesn’t fully grasp the consequences of his actions. Pete’s playful innocence is coupled with a stubborn determination that can quickly turn mischievous.
