With a train full of remarkable suspects and an alibi for each one, it’s the perfect mystery for detective Hercule Poirot. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again. Rate: No pay. Additional info: Local, Non-Equity performers for various roles in the upcoming 2025 production of MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. Non-Equity out-of-town actors with local housing and transportation options are welcome to audition/submit. Callbacks may be scheduled on December 11th, if needed. Rehearsals: February 10th-March 20th, 2025. They take place Monday-Friday in the evening. Performances: weekends, 3/21-4/13/2025 PREPARATION: - Monologues are not required. - Please prepare 1 or 2 sides for the character(s) you most identify with. - Bring all conflicts during the rehearsal period.
