"Shrek" Musical Auditions for Boys and Girls
3rd-6th Grade "Shrek" Auditions. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will need to prepare and perform a 30-to 60-second portion of a song from a musical. We are listening for things like tone quality, expression, and song interpretation. You can sing without accompaniment or you can send Ms. Carmody a link with your accompaniment. ALL LINKS MUST BE SENT BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6th! Your child will also do a reading from the script. Again, we are looking for things like expression, interpretation, and acting skills. To simplify this process a little bit, elementary actors will all read for the character Gingy. This scene is attached at the back of your packet. It does NOT have to be memorized but they should be familiar with it prior to auditions! See the document attached for details. If interested, please apply.
