Singing Audition for "The Drowsy Chaperone Jr." Show

Performers in grades 6-12 are welcome to audition for "The Drowsy Chaperone Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, December 11 in the evening. Performers should prepare approximately 1 minute of a musical theater song, and bring an accompaniment track on a device that can be connected to a Bluetooth speaker. In addition to the vocal audition, all performers will be asked to perform a short monologue that has been pre-selected by the Director. The final portion of the audition will consist of a dance audition. Performers will be taught the routine at the audition and do not need to prepare anything ahead of time. Please dress comfortably and wear appropriate footwear for a dance audition. Rehearsals for this production will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am - 1 pm. Cast members will be responsible for securing appropriate footwear/tights/undergarments and stage make-up for the show. Performances are scheduled for March 7 - 9 and March 14 - 15 at the Community Arts Center. Note that the fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
