Audition for teenagers for a short film which is a student film, called “The Silent Crisis”. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The Silent Crisis is a short student film that will bring awareness to the severity of Missing Black Children and the lack of urgency shown to the families when searching for their children. It is to give a voice. Logline: Two desperate parents race against time to find their missing 17-year-old son, battling indifference from the police and media, as they uncover the painful truth about why Black children are often forgotten.” Additional info: Scheduled to start filming on the last Friday in February 2025 in Newport News, VA.
