About the project: Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Finding Nemo, Jr. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. Additional info: *You only need to attend one audition date, expect to stay the entire 2 hours. Please come prepared with sheet music of 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song of your choice. An accompanist will be there to play your song. No acapella, please. There will be a dance portion of the audition, so please come dressed to move. Actors may be asked to read scenes as well. These scenes will be emailed to all auditionees and guardians no later than Monday, November 25. Rehearsals will begin on December 9 with performances running January 30-February 1. (There will be no rehearsals Dec 20-Jan 3) Most rehearsals will take place Monday through Thursday from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and Saturday mornings 10 am-12 pm. Please note that there may be school performances on Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31 that will be required. If you are interested please apply.
