About the project: Sam, a desperate son trying to care for his terminally ill mother, is drowning in debt. After his bank loan is denied, he has no choice but to find another way to afford her life-saving treatment—fast. At the end of his rope, Sam is forced to reach out to his estranged brother, David, a shady and unreliable man with ties to the criminal underworld.With no other options, Sam reluctantly trusts David which leads to a high-stakes race against time to raise the money that could save his mother's life. This role will feature Sam at a younger age in a montage sequence. "Young Sam" will appear in a montage sequence, his scenes involve, Susan (his mother) and David (his older brother). There are several actions and a few lines of dialogue between the three characters. All scenes involving young Sam will be filmed within one day. Approximately 4 hours on set. A minor coordinator will be present on set for shooting.
David is the black sheep of the family, he is convinced that he must do whatever it takes—regardless of the moral cost—to provide for his loved ones. This clash of values creates a rift between him and his mother, a growing resentment that will ultimately come to define and dominate his life.
This character is a young man working for David as a small-time drug dealer. He embodies the innocence of youth while also serving as a stark contrast to David’s moral decline, symbolizing the corrupting influence of David's choices.
