Kid Performers Needed for "The Miracle Worker" Show
Kids age 8-10 years old are invited to audition for "The Miracle Worker" Show. Please see the details below. Additional info: What to Prepare: Participants will be asked to read excerpts from the production. No memorization or preparation beforehand is required. Participants should have their personal information ready and a list of any potential conflicts during the rehearsal period (January - April). Important Dates: Tech Week: March 29th - April 3rd Performance Dates: April 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th. Strike: April 13th following the closing performance. Please note that if you are unable to attend any of these dates you will not be considered for this production. If interested, please apply.

Helen is a deaf-blind child who is pitied and spoiled by her family until she is nearly uncontrollable. Annie Sullivan is hired to be Helen's teacher to save the child from committal to an asylum.
Percy is Viney's son. He is a young child who is enlisted to live with and help out Annie Sullivan during her two-week stay at the garden cottage with Helen Keller.
Martha is a child about Helen's age and the daughter of the Keller's servant, Viney. Sometimes while playing with Helen, she becomes the victim of Helen's tantrums.
