About the project: “Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812” is an award-winning musical that reimagines a scandalous segment of Tolstoy’s “War and Peace” with a modern twist. The narrative follows Natasha Rostova, who, while awaiting her fiancé’s return from war, becomes entangled in a whirlwind romance with the charming yet reckless Anatole. It is up to Pierre, a family friend grappling with his own existential crisis, to help Natasha restore her reputation. Featuring a daring score that blends classical themes with contemporary electropop, the production promises an innovative experience for musical theater enthusiasts.
