Dance Opportunities for Teens in "Descendants" Musical

Looking for performers ages 16 and up for "Descendants" Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: Changes are afoot in the kingdom of Auradon! Here, all of Disney's favorite heroes and heroines are living in peace, happily ever after. Meanwhile, the evil villains and troubled sidekicks have been banished to the Isle of the Lost, where they are stripped of their magic and powers. Ben, the beloved son of King Beast and Belle, is about to be crowned as King of Auradon and he has a radical idea. He decides to invite four trouble-making offspring of the most wicked villains to take their places as students at Auradon Prep. Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos--the children of Maleficent, Grimhilde, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil--come to Auradon with an evil plan of their own. They have been tasked with stealing the Fairy Godmother's magic wand and restoring their parents to power. However, will they go through with the plan? Or do they have the potential to learn to be good? Additional info: You will likely not sing the entire song but should be prepared to do so if asked. (You can find backing tracks on YouTube and lyrics online). These combinations will be taught at rehearsals. You do NOT need to have them learned ahead of time. They are provided here for your use if you wish. They are intended to give you an idea of the type of movement required by the roles indicated, and let you study them at your own pace. The director will set exact dates and times for rehearsals after casting in order to best meet the needs of the cast and the show. Regular rehearsals will be held on Mon, Tues, and Thursday nights beginning in January. Choreography rehearsals will be held on Sunday afternoons until dances are learned. (they will not need to continue indefinitely). There may be a need for Saturday rehearsals, depending on weather cancellations (this will ONLY be if needed, and there will never be both a Sat and Sun rehearsal). Plan to wear comfortable clothes you can move in and closed-toe shoes you can dance in. If you are auditioning for tap, bring your tap shoes. Please download the attachment for details.
