Seeking Kids and Teens for "The Wizard of Oz" Show
Audition for "The Wizard of Oz" Show. Actors 7 and up are encouraged to audition. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, features the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide. Additional info: Please bring an actor's resume and headshot to be submitted to the production crew. All those auditioning should prepare a cut of 16-32 measures from a song of your choosing. There will be a dance call at the initial auditions. Rehearsals begin on Monday, December 30, 2024, and will be every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, as well as, Sunday from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Tech Week will run from Saturday, March 22, 2025 – to Thursday, March 27, 2025. Performance dates include: Friday, March 28, 2025 @ 10:00 AM & 7:30 PM Saturday, March 29, 2025 @ 7:30 PM Sunday, March 30, 2025 @ 2:00 PM. If interested, please apply.
