About the project: With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. CAST READ-THROUGH: Friday, Dec 20 at 5:00 pm All cast members must attend the read-through rehearsal. A brief parent and company meeting will be at 7:00p REHEARSAL PERIOD: December 28 – February 5 Rehearsals will be 3-4 days per week, depending on the role. More intensive rehearsals in July before school begins. Please see the audition form for possible rehearsal times on each day of the week. Miss Hannigan’s younger thief of a brother; a hustler by all accounts. Flashy & self-assured; Needs to make a great team with Lily (could even be shorter than her if it worked); big character part – a New York accent could be a real plus; needs to be a strong singer, dancer, & presence on stage.
