Despite the tendency to sweep unpleasantness under a rug, an unlikely group of tight-knit friends, who discover living in a small town, during a pandemic, force them to confront some hard truths that refuse to be ignored. "Do Not Open." Written by Shelley Segal. Siblings, Mark and Liz are preparing to open their grandfather’s WW2 foot locker with Mark’s son, Josh. Josh will be deploying to Afghanistan soon and plans to take a personal item from his grandfather with him. There’s much levity and nostalgia as they finally open their treasure chest. They pull out their father’s past one item at a time. The mood changes when they decide to open a small envelope that clearly reads Do Not Open. If you are interested please apply.
