About the project:
CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purrfect felines including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and Grizabella.
The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year-the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

All auditioners should prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. All auditioners will participate in a dance call following the vocal audition. Please bring comfortable clothing and jazz shoes for the dance audition. If you have tap shoes, please bring those as well.
Callbacks will be held on the same day as the initial audition. Those asked to attend callbacks each evening will be given and taught material from the show.
