"A Wrinkle In Time" is looking for ages 17 and up. Please see the details below. About the project: “There IS such thing as a tesseract….” A WRINKLE IN TIME by Morgan Gould is a faithful, ensemble-driven adaptation of the beloved novel by Madeleine L’Engle. First published in 1962, the book won the Newbery Medal, the Sequoyah Book Award, and the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award, It tells the story of 3 young characters–Meg Murry, Charles Wallace Murry, and Calvin O’Keefe–who embark on a journey through space and time. Traveling from galaxy to galaxy, they endeavor to rescue the Murrys’ father and fight an unspeakable evil that has intruded into several worlds. The story offers a glimpse into the struggle between light and darkness, good and evil, and themes of love, divinity, and goodness. Additional info: Actors may attend either audition session, and do not need to prepare material ahead of time but will be asked to read scenes from the script. Auditioners should also bring a calendar to indicate any scheduling conflicts they have between now and February 23. The rehearsal schedule will depend on the roles and conflicts between the actors, and not every actor will be called to every rehearsal. Performances will be on February 14, 15, 16 21, 22, and 23.
