Kid Performers Needed for Auditions "Once Upon a Mattress"

About the project: Written during the Golden Age of American musicals, Once Upon A Mattress is a humorous take on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. The show’s popularity has endured through generations, even enjoying a revival on Broadway in 2024. Using a Drag Queen Story Hour as our setting, this production will highlight the storybook charm of the show and its message that, in fairy tales at least, anyone can be a princess. Additional info: Prepare: A 60-90-second vocal selection, preferably in the style of the show. Select a monologue from the list provided. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition time to allow for check-in. If you are unable to complete the online form ahead of time, bring a list of conflicts so that you can complete it on-site prior to your audition. Bring: Sheet music for your vocal selection; an accompanist will be provided. A performance resume if you have one, or upload a copy with your audition form.
