Young Talent Wanted for Singing Auditions "Matilda" The Musical

Kids ages 6-15 years old are invited to audition for "Matilda" The Musical. Please see the details below. About the project: Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher Miss Honey. During her first term at school, the two forge a bond as Miss Honey begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves to punish those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace! Additional info: Please prepare at least 1 minute of a song from the musical 'Matilda' and bring along a resume/headshot when you arrive. Directors will have a conflict and info sheet available upon audition day(s), but ask that EVERY member of the cast is available the entirety of tech week (February 1st-6th). This show will run for 4 shows between February 7th and 9th. All actors MUST be available for each show. Understudies will be available for some but not all characters. The potential CALLBACK date will be Nov. 8th at 6:30-8:30 however the production team hopes to have the show cast based on auditions alone. Callbacks may be for select parts, but not all.
