Strong actor/singer. DEE essentially lives the same life as her sister, Piper - with one big difference. As sudden changes surround her, Dee must keep a secret that’s a much bigger deal than high school drama: she comes from another planet! While Dee’s alien-ness is metaphorical, she is still a strong, determined character who represents swimming against the tide and daring to be different.
Strong actor/singer. PIPER is Dee’s sister, but she has way more important things to worry about than aliens - she needs to beat her best frenemy Sophie for the Carnival Queen crown at the school dance. Piper gets so swept up in the competition that she forgets who she is and ends up betraying her sister Dee, who was once her best friend. Will Piper apologize to Dee? Or will she turn her back on her true friends?
Strong actor/singer. All about comedic timing. JACK is the man, TBH. He has the vibe of the friendly, good advice-dispensing bartender that everyone confides their deepest secrets to - though of course not literally, since he’s just in high school. He is Dee’s bestie and #1 confidant. Sure, he’s no genius, but he’s got a heart of gold and an open mind. (Plus, he thinks his BFF being an alien is totally tubular.)
Comparable to a Regina George or Sharpay Evans archetype. SOPHIE embodies the mean girl stereotype -with a twist. Piper’s best frenemy. She’ll do whatever it takes to win Carnival Queen -even if it means lying to those closest to her. But . . . (dramatic music!) she’s keeping the biggest secret of all.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but certainly a funny one. He’s determined to beat his opponent/frenemy Izzy in the race for class president, despite having little to no political knowledge. NOAH often adds comic relief to tense moments.
IZZY is a type-A, straight-A student. She doesn’t have time for extraterrestrials; she’s busy campaigning for class president. When she’s not making the world a better place, she’s in everybody’s business. Foes will call her shrill and neurotic. Friends will call her . . . shrill and neurotic.
Future frat brother, he’s fresh out of juvie for getting nursing home residents entangled in his latest cryptocurrency pyramid scheme. All the swagger and attitude, nothing to back it up. Would wear a leather jacket and drive an obnoxiously loud car - if he were old enough to drive.
A student; does the school’s morning announcements (delivers several offstage monologues, so strong acting is a plus!).
A student.
A student.
Looking for strong actors/singers/dancers; this number may fluctuate.
