Casting Teen Performers for "Pride & Prejudice" Play
Casting call for teen performers ages 15+ for the upcoming play "Pride & Prejudice." Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Despite his pride and her prejudice—or is it her pride, and his prejudice? Elizabeth and Darcy can’t seem to avoid each other’s company. Brought together by a series of events beyond their control, both must reconsider their first impressions. Additional info: Callbacks (if needed) are Tuesday, November 19th from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Performance Dates: February 28 - March 16, 2025 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 2:30 PM Please bring your schedule conflicts to the audition. Auditions will be cold readings from the script. Headshots and resumes are encouraged but not necessary. Rehearsals will begin mid-December, and run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and some Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Note that not all actors will be required at every rehearsal, and a full schedule will go out to actors after casting. Loves the world and the world loves him. Falls madly in love with Jane. Mr. Darcy’s particular friend.
A pedantic, obtuse man. The original Mansplainer. Rector to Lady Catherine.
An unfairly handsome and charming gentleman. Probably a sociopath. Raised with Darcy.
