"RUBY: The Story of Ruby Bridges" Seeks Kids and Teens
Directors are calling for boy and girl performers ages 8 and up for the "Ruby: The Story Of Ruby Bridges" play. Please, see the details below. About the project: When Ruby Bridges was six years old the Civil Rights movement came hammering at her door making her the first African American child to attend an all-white elementary school in the South at the tender age of six-years-old. Additional information: Callbacks: Will only be scheduled is needed. Production Dates: This production is a part of ArtReach and will be presented on February 4, 5, and 6, at 9:30 am and 11:30 am for school performances. Public Performances will be on February 7 at 7:00 PM and February 8 at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Audition Material: Please prepare and present a gospel song of your choice. Please prepare a memorized one-minute monologue of your choice. You will also be asked to reach out from the script. Please apply, if interested.
